These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "Guest," "Customer," or "User") and AURA Candle Bar, doing business as AURA Candle Bar ("AURA," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Illinois.

These Terms govern your use of our website at auracandlebar.com, your participation in our studio experiences and reservations, and all purchases made through our online shop. By accessing our website, making a reservation, purchasing a product, or otherwise engaging with AURA Candle Bar, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website, make a reservation, or place an order.

2. Studio Experience & Reservations

2.1 Nature of the Experience

AURA Candle Bar offers curated, in-person candle making and fragrance blending experiences guided by trained Scent Consultants. Each reservation secures a dedicated time slot, exclusive access to our fragrance bar, and personalized one-on-one guidance. Because we limit bookings to preserve the quality of your experience, your reservation precludes other guests from booking during your scheduled time.

2.2 Reservation Agreement

By providing your credit card information and confirming a reservation, you enter into a binding Reservation Agreement with AURA and agree to all terms set forth in this Section 2. This agreement is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

2.3 Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness for all guests and to sustain the quality of our staffing and materials preparation, the following policy applies:

• Cancellations made 48 or more hours in advance of the scheduled reservation incur no fee.

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation, missed appointments, or no-shows will result in a charge of $42.00 per guest, based on the original guest count confirmed at booking.

• Reservations made within 48 hours of the scheduled time are final and cannot be changed or cancelled.

• Special event bookings for groups 7 or more and private event bookings require 7 days cancellation or changes in number of attendees with fees based on the full event price.

This fee is compensatory in nature and covers staffing costs, fragrance materials prepared on your behalf, and the opportunity cost of reserving your seat(s).

2.4 Late Arrivals

Guests arriving 10 or more minutes after their scheduled reservation time may be treated as a no-show at AURA's discretion, depending on availability and scheduling. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate late arrivals when our schedule permits, but we cannot guarantee your full experience time.

2.5 Additional Guests

If your party grows beyond the number confirmed at booking, we will do our best to welcome additional guests on a walk-in basis, subject to availability. Walk-in guests cannot be guaranteed access to the full experience and are not covered under your reservation.

2.6 Payment Authorization & Collection

By completing a reservation, you authorize AURA to charge your credit card on file for any applicable cancellation or no-show fees as described in Section 2.3. In the event that a charge is declined or results in insufficient funds, an additional collection fee of $30.00 will be applied.

2.7 Dispute Policy

You acknowledge and agree that cancellation and no-show fees are legitimate compensatory charges for staffing, materials, and lost booking opportunity. You agree not to initiate a chargeback or credit card dispute for these fees unless there is a documented billing error. Abuse of the dispute process may result in denial of future reservations.

2.8 How to Cancel

All cancellations must be submitted through our online reservation system at auracandlebar.com. This ensures your cancellation is properly recorded and timestamped. Cancellations communicated solely by phone, email, or social media will not be considered valid for the purpose of fee waivers unless AURA confirms receipt in writing.

To change, reschedule or cancel your reservation 48 hours or more before your scheduled candle making class time:

- Note: To change the number in your party, you will need to cancel your existing reservation and make a new one for your adjusted guest count

Click on the “Book a Reservation” button
Login in by clicking the “Sign In” in top right hand corner of the reservation page
Enter the phone number used to book your original reservation
Go to “My Appointments” to find the reservation you would like to change or cancel

2.9 Age Requirements

Guests must be at least 8 years of age to participate in the AURA studio experience. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the experience. The accompanying adult is responsible for the minor guest's conduct and safety throughout the session.

2.10 Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

The AURA studio experience involves handling fragrance oils, wax, wicks, open flame, and other materials. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the experience, including but not limited to burns, allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, and incidental contact with fragrance materials.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless AURA Candle Bar, its owners, employees, Scent Consultants, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your participation in the studio experience, including any injury to person or property, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by AURA.

By completing your reservation and participating in our studio experience, you acknowledge this assumption of risk and release of liability. If you do not agree, please do not complete your reservation.

3. Online Shop & Ecommerce

3.1 Products Offered

AURA Candle Bar's online shop offers the following products for purchase and shipment within the continental United States:

• Custom and signature candles

• Reed diffusers

• Sugar scrubs

• Matches

• AURA E-Gift Experience

All products are handcrafted using phthalate-free, toxin-free, and paraben-free fragrances made with sustainably sourced ingredients. Product descriptions, fragrance notes, and photographs are provided for informational purposes and are subject to change without notice.

3.2 Orders & Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. AURA reserves the right to modify pricing at any time without prior notice. Prices in effect at the time of your order will be honored. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our sole discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability.

3.3 Shipping

We ship to addresses within the continental United States only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and are subject to change. AURA is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or circumstances outside our control.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us promptly through https://auracandlebar.com/pages/contact if your order arrives damaged or incomplete.

3.4 Returns & Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, the following policy applies:

• Returns are accepted within 14 days of the delivery date.

• Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in original packaging.

• To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at https://auracandlebar.com/pages/contact with your order number and reason for return.

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received damaged or an error was made on our part.

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period after we receive and inspect the returned item.

AURA reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above criteria.

3.5 Fragrance Sensitivity Disclaimer

Fragrance products may cause allergic reactions or sensitivities in some individuals or pets. AURA provides ingredient and fragrance composition information where available. It is your responsibility to review this information prior to purchase. AURA is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from use of our products.

4. AURA E-Gift Experience

AURA E-Gift Cards may be redeemed toward studio reservations only.

• E-Gift Cards do not expire.

• E-Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• E-Gift Cards are not replaceable if lost, stolen, or used without authorization.

• AURA is not responsible for unauthorized use of E-Gift Card codes.

• E-Gift Card balances may not be used to purchase additional E-Gift Cards.

5. Wholesale

5.1 Wholesale Eligibility

AURA Candle Bar offers wholesale purchasing for qualified retailers, boutiques, and business partners. Wholesale inquiries may be submitted through https://auracandlebar.com/pages/wholesale-enquiry-form AURA reserves the right to approve or deny wholesale applications at its sole discretion.

5.2 Wholesale Terms

Approved wholesale accounts are subject to separate pricing, minimum order quantities, and terms communicated at the time of approval. The following general terms apply to all wholesale orders:

• Wholesale pricing is confidential and may not be disclosed to third parties.

• All wholesale orders are subject to these Terms of Service, in addition to any supplemental wholesale agreement.

• AURA products sold through wholesale channels must not be misrepresented, repackaged, or sold under a different brand name without prior written consent from AURA.

• Wholesale orders are generally non-returnable except in cases of damaged or defective goods reported within 7 business days of receipt.

• AURA reserves the right to terminate a wholesale relationship at its sole discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on auracandlebar.com, including but not limited to text, photography, fragrance names, brand assets, logo, graphics, product descriptions, blog content, and the AURA Candle Bar name and identity, are the proprietary intellectual property of AURA Candle Bar and are protected by applicable U.S. copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or use any AURA content for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted provided attribution is maintained.

7. User Conduct

By using our website or visiting our studio, you agree not to:

• Engage in any conduct that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or disruptive.

• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity.

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of our website or systems.

• Use our website for any fraudulent, deceptive, or commercial purpose not authorized by AURA.

• Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law or regulation.

AURA reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or entity at its sole discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website, studio services, and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AURA makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any content, product, or service offered. AURA does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AURA Candle Bar, its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or personal injury, arising out of or related to your use of our website, studio experience, or products, even if AURA has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall AURA's total liability to you for any claim exceed the amount you paid to AURA in the 90 days preceding the claim.

10. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy, available at auracandlebar.com.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of our website, a reservation, or a product purchase shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, the parties agree to resolve the dispute through binding arbitration in Chicago, Illinois, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Judgment on any arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking emergency injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to prevent irreparable harm.

12. Changes to These Terms

AURA reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document. Your continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any supplemental agreements (including Wholesale Agreements), constitute the entire agreement between you and AURA with respect to the subject matter herein, and supersede all prior understandings, agreements, representations, or warranties.

Candle pickup:

All candles require 2 hours to cool, from the completion of the experience, before being glazed and ready for pick up. Candles poured within 2 hours of closing will be ready the following business day, one hour after AURA's scheduled opening time. NOTE: AURA is closed on Mondays
