Large group / studio rental
Welcome to AURA — we look forward to creating a memorable experience for your group.
General Information:
- All groups are scheduled independently from others with reserved seating at our candle-pouring bar
- Guests within a group may choose to pay individually or as a group
- Candle prices are dependent on the vessel chosen ranging from $48–$64 and above for extra-large, multi-wick options
- If the host is covering the cost, a selection of vessels and price range may be predetermined for guests’ vessel choices to maintain an overall spend amount
- Maximum capacity: 18/20 guests per every 1-hour candle session/experience
- Guest count change/cancellation policy: 7 days prior to scheduled booking
- Pick-up: All candles require 2 hours to cool before being glazed and ready for pickup
- Any candles completed within 2 hours of AURA's scheduled closing time will be ready for pick up the next business day (AURA is closed on Mondays)
- For convenience, we hold candles for 2 weeks; shipping is available for an additional fee
- Food/Beverages are not permitted in the studio during scent-blending and candle-pouring, as they interfere with one’s sense of smell and our overall experience process (Permitted only with full studio rental/private event option)
Once the request form (below) is submitted, a credit card authorization form will be sent and required to be signed to reserve all large group reservations. Nothing is charged to the card on file (a physical card required at time of checkout following the experience session) unless the cancellation or spend requirements are not met at the time of scheduled booking, as stated in the terms and conditions, which includes a minimum spend amount per confirmed guest count and AURA's 7-day guest count change/cancellation policy.
Group/Event Types
- Up to 15 guests - $48 (+tax/gratuity) minimum spend per person
- Over 15 guests/Max 18 guests - $64 (+tax/gratuity) minimum spend per person
- Why the price difference? Groups over 15 guests require us to block reservations one half hour before the booked session to ensure full seating capacity at the candle-pouring bar.
Enjoy a private, immersive candle-making experience in our studio, with the option to serve BYO light bites and beverages following the pour.
Available Weekdays: Tuesday & Wednesday: 12:00–7:00 PM | Thursday: 12:00–8:00 PM | Friday: 11:00 AM–4:00 PM
Available Weekends: First reservation of the day only | Saturday: 11:00 AM | Sunday: 12:00 PM - Additional times may be available upon request.
Capacity: Maximum of 18–20 guests
Event Structure:
- The studio is closed to the public during your rental
- All candle-making is completed during the first hour
- The second hour may be used for light bites and beverages
- Food and drinks are not permitted during candle-making to preserve scent integrity
Pricing & Policies:
- Candle-making experience for the group is included in the studio rental fee
- 20% large group gratuity applies

While AURA is primarily an adult space, we can accommodate young guests, with attentive, present-minded adult supervision for the duration of their time with us in the studio.
- Ages 10-12: 8 guest maximum
- Ages 13-16: 12 guest maximum
- Minimum spend: $48 per confirmed guest + 20% large group gratuity fee
AURA is unable to host “parties” involving decorations, gifts, cake, food, or beverages. In general, eating and drinking is not permitted during the candle-making process as they interfere with scent blending and our overall experience process.
