POSITION TITLE: 

Team Member/Scent Consultant for Chicago’s very own Pour-Your-Own Custom Candle and Fragrance Making Experience at AURA Candle Bar.

LOCATION: 

Southport Corridor - Lakeview, Chicago – 2 minute walk to/from Brown Line, Southport Station

HOURS: 

Part-time positions currently available during weekends. Weekend and holiday availability is a must. Studio Hours: Monday- Closed, Tuesday – Wednesday 12-7PM, Thursday-Friday 12-8 PM, Saturday 11 AM – 8 PM, Sunday 12-5 PM

AURA Candle Bar is a socially interactive, pour-your-own retail fragrance and candle making class experience bringing people together to explore and create with scent. We invite guests to custom-blend fragrances in our customer-'scentric' atmosphere. AURA Candle Bar's elevated fragrance and candle making experience has been named one of the top Chicago experiences by Google, YELP and Trip Advisor.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking individuals who already hold a full-time position and are looking for meaningful part-time weekend work in a creative, elevated atmosphere. A completed bachelor’s degree is required.

Our ideal team member is self-aware, emotionally mature, professional, and intentional. You genuinely enjoy connecting with people and are passionate about creating a refined, upscale fragrance experience. You take pride in contributing to AURA Candle Bar’s mission of being the best part of our guests’ week.

The Role

By bringing initiative and resourcefulness to the studio, you help create a calm, welcoming space where guests can step away from the chaos of daily life. From greeting guests at the door to guiding them through custom fragrance blending, you play an essential role in shaping their experience.

Custom fragrance-blending training will be provided.

Pay starts at $15/hour: $25+/hour with tips

Living close to the studio is a big benefit

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift over 45 pounds in a busy environment
